IMPORTANT POINTS TO BE AWARE OF
The doors are manufactured using a combination of components designed to ensure the security of your home whilst providing an attractive, harmonious finish that blends in with your home.

The main components of a security door are:
- Metal Frame
- Metal Door Leaf
- Locking system
- Fittings
- Lock
- Finish

Metal Frame
The metal frame is made from rolled and galvanised steel sheet, 1.5 mm thick, grade DX-51 or 52, formed on an automatic press brake, and is bolted together.

Metal Door Leaf
The metal panel is constructed in two parts: the front panel is die-stamped with a decorative pattern, made from rolled and galvanised steel sheet, 1 mm thick, grade DX-54; the rear panel is available with or without stamping and is made from grade DX-51 steel sheet, 0.8 mm thick. Internal filling of micro-expanded polyurethane, formulated to type M-3, applied using a high-pressure injection pump.

Locking System

When you purchase your door, you will notice that the frame protrudes slightly at the top.
This is not a fault; the doors are designed so that the protruding part of the frame is recessed into the floor, providing a watertight and more secure finish for your home.
OPENING OPTIONS
When choosing a security door, you’ll be offered two options: right-hand opening or left-hand opening.

SECURITY RATING
All doors are fitted with a three-point lock and therefore have a security rating of level three.

Model ISEO 668 with an 8-pin bolt system, a deadbolt with a security cylinder and anti-bumping systems, featuring point-coded keys and a master key. Drill-resistant escutcheon. Security grade 3.
Resistance grade 3
For residential buildings at considerable risk, stately homes and offices in industrial buildings.

FIXED PANELS
Fixed sections are used to maximise natural light entering the home, thereby achieving greater energy efficiency on the one hand and a warmer, more aesthetically pleasing interior on the other. They can be fitted to the sides of the doors, at the top, or in both areas.
Fixed panels provide extra light at the entrance to your home, without compromising on security.
Choose from fixed panels with or without decorative motifs to complement your door’s design.

2-YEAR WARRANTY
The manufacturer, Cearco, offers a two-year guarantee on its doors. This guarantee covers any manufacturing defects, defined as: rust corrosion (excluding fittings), mechanical malfunction and flaking paint (due to poor adhesion).
This guarantee will apply provided that the doors have been stored correctly (never left exposed to the elements, or without packaging, either fully or partially). Under no circumstances will the guarantee apply to doors that have already been installed. Cearco reserves the right to accept claims under this guarantee.

INSTALLATION OF FIXTURES
The door stops are secured to reinforced doors using fixing anchors, which are included with the door stop. These also come with steel plate-shaped clamps for fixing them to the wall – preferably without a wooden sub-frame – to ensure the anchorage is as strong as possible.
If you are ordering a top plate, please specify the required width in the order description.
They can be fitted to the sides of the doors, at the top, or in both places.

MORE ABOUT THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE DOORS
Cearco security doors are constructed in two parts.
The door leaf is made of rolled and galvanised steel sheet, with a thickness of 1 mm (DX-54 grade) on the outer side of the door and a thickness of 0.8 mm (DX-51 grade) on the inner side of the door.
The interior of the security door is filled with thermal insulation comprising micro-expanded polyurethane formulated to M-3 standard, applied using a high-pressure injection pump.
Interior and exterior made from steel sheet. Door leaf thickness: 40 mm
The metal frame of the security door is made from rolled and galvanised steel sheet, 1.5 mm thick in DX-51 or DX-52 grade, formed on an automatic press brake, and secured with three bolts.

CERTIFICATIONS
Burglary resistance certification. Burglary resistance is the door’s ability to withstand attempts to gain unauthorised entry into a room or protected area. Through the application of physical force and the use of specific tools, the door is damaged or destroyed. The criteria for this test are set out in the European standard ENV 1627 of January 1999, for the B4 series, and in the UNE-EN 1627:2011 standard, for the Omega series. As we can see, our doors have passed these tests successfully.
CE marking is compulsory for all manufacturers of doors and windows. It applies to the finished product, but does not concern the installation. As at the date of this circular, the company CERRAJERÍA ARTÍSTICA CORTÉS, S.L., holds CE marking for all the external pedestrian doors it sells.
