Porcelain washbasins

Porcelain washbasins are the quintessential traditional choice for fitting a bathroom, offering guaranteed hygiene, durability and elegance. Their compact, vitrified composition provides a completely waterproof surface that withstands continuous use, retaining its natural lustre unchanged over time.

Available Shapes and Sizes

The circular and oval versions stand out for their soft lines, which lend fluidity and visual dynamism to the countertop. They are ideal for both countertop and under-mount installations, creating an elegant focal point that blends seamlessly into classic, rustic or contemporary interiors.

For those seeking to maximise the use of space, the rectangular and mini-sized options offer defined edges and ample water-holding capacity. Their versatility allows for either wall-mounted or under-counter installation, optimising small spaces or guest toilets without compromising on functionality.

Technical Advantages and Sanitary Maintenance

The high-temperature vitrification process gives this sanitaryware extraordinary durability against abrasive chemicals, knocks and accidental scratches. Its almost complete lack of porosity prevents dirt or germs from adhering to the surface, facilitating rapid disinfection.

Keeping this equipment spotless simply requires regular washing with water and mild soap, avoiding complex treatments or special polishing. Its timeless finish blends easily with any style of taps and bathroom furniture, ensuring a neat and refined aesthetic that retains its value over time.

Most Common Installation Types

• Countertop installation: Resting directly on the unit, which highlights the washbasin’s silhouette as a freestanding feature.
• Under-mount installation: Fitted below the worktop level to create seamless, easy-to-clean surfaces.
• Wall-mounted installation: Fixed directly to the wall, freeing up space underneath in small or minimalist bathrooms.
