Choosing the right flooring for shops, hotels and restaurants is essential to ensure the durability, safety and hygiene of any business with high customer footfall. Ceramic floor tiles offer an advanced technical solution that withstands continuous wear and tear without compromising on style.

Technical requirements for commercial and hospitality flooring

Porcelain stoneware tiles stand out for their extraordinary structural hardness and zero porosity. This technical characteristic prevents the absorption of moisture or accidental liquid spills, facilitating rapid and consistent disinfection to strictly comply with the health regulations required in commercial spaces.

There is a wide variety of finishes capable of enhancing the décor of the premises. From elegant reproductions of natural stone or sophisticated marble to concrete or wood effects, this aesthetic versatility allows for the creation of unique atmospheres that reinforce the corporate image of each business.

Slip resistance and design continuity

When selecting the ideal flooring for spaces open to the public, it is essential to assess the level of grip in damp areas or main entrances. Opting for finishes with high-grade anti-slip properties prevents slips and falls, ensuring a safe environment for staff and customers.

Furthermore, the use of large-format or rectified tiles helps to create a sense of visual spaciousness by minimising the number of joints. This continuity of design enhances the aesthetic appeal of the space, reducing areas where dirt can accumulate and extending the service life of the installation.
