Door trims

Orac Decor’s range of door trims offers a sophisticated architectural solution to enhance interior door frames and entrances. These pieces stand out for their ability to transform simple openings into structures of great visual impact and classic elegance.

Architectural design and a variety of door trims

The range includes over-door elements such as the D400 and D401 models and the classic D170 moulding, designed to finish off the upper section. It also features floor mouldings such as the D310, D330LR and D340, providing a clean and polished transition to the skirting board.

To complement the door frames, the collection features decorative corner pieces such as the P101A, P801C and PX120A, as well as the DX121 and DX170 frames. Using them together makes it easy to create continuous moulded cornices that enhance the appearance of any interior doorway.

The surface is pre-treated with a coat of white primer, ready to be painted with any interior paint without the need for a separate primer. Incorporating these decorative mouldings into residential or commercial refurbishments guarantees a flawless finish, backed by Orac Decor’s signature high-quality design.

Its refined profile blends seamlessly with skirting boards, three-dimensional wall panels and cornices in either classic or contemporary styles. The wide range of dimensions available allows the mouldings to be scaled to suit the proportions of any standard or bespoke door.

Quality attributes and material specifications of Orac Decor

Manufactured from high-density polymers such as Purotouch and Duropolymer, these decorative trims offer superior resistance to the rigours of everyday use. Among the most significant technical features of this range of decorative accessories are the following key characteristics:

• Resistance to direct impact: A hard, non-deformable material designed to withstand accidental scrapes or knocks in high-traffic areas.
• Waterproof and washable structure: A water-resistant composition that is unaffected by moisture and does not absorb environmental dirt.
• Surface ready for painting: A factory-applied primer coat that ensures optimum adhesion of enamels or paints.
• Installation using technical adhesives: Clean installation without the need for complex building work, using the DecoFix range of adhesives.
• Simple and convenient maintenance: Quick daily dusting using only a damp cloth or neutral cleaners.

Applications of door trims in interior design

Thanks to their stable performance in environments exposed to fluctuations in humidity, these trims are ideal for hallways, bathrooms and kitchens. Their non-porous material prevents the growth of mould or bacteria, ensuring a hygienic and durable surface in the home.

Similarly, their decorative profiles are ideal for enhancing main entrances, living rooms, bedrooms or elegant dining areas. Choosing Orac Decor’s door trims guarantees an exclusive, eye-catching architectural finish with a professional look.
