Diesel fuel tanks

The Schutz range of diesel tanks offers a technical solution with the highest level of safety for fuel storage, both in domestic heating installations and in professional refuelling applications. Designed to high engineering standards using high-density polyethylene (HDPE), this range combines compact designs, excellent durability and optimum resistance to corrosion and environmental degradation. If you are looking for a reliable, certified solution to manage your energy consumption, here you will find options tailored to different capacities and installation requirements.

Technical storage solutions featuring Schutz Tank-in-Tank technology

The models in the Tank in Tank series stand out for their advanced double-walled system made from high-density polyethylene, eliminating the need to build an additional concrete containment tank. This integrated structure guarantees maximum protection against potential leaks or seepage, safeguarding both the surrounding area and the environment. Available in capacities of 750, 1,000, 1,500 and 2,000 litres, they represent the safest and cleanest option for fuelling central heating boilers or supplying machinery with complete peace of mind.

In addition to their superior leak-tightness, the double-walled design offers high resistance to mechanical impacts and temperature fluctuations. The high-density polyethylene moulding process ensures stable thermal behaviour, preventing premature ageing of the material due to direct contact with hydrocarbons. Their streamlined design optimises available space, allowing large-capacity tanks to be installed in technical areas or boiler rooms with limited floor space.

Versatility and modularity in Schutz single-walled tanks

For projects requiring a lightweight and cost-effective installation, Schutz modular tanks offer maximum operational flexibility. Available in capacities of 750 and 1,000 litres, these single-walled tanks can be interconnected via transfer systems, creating bespoke storage arrays tailored to the building’s requirements. They are the perfect choice for premises that already have an approved retention tank or auxiliary spaces for residential and industrial use.

Their lightweight polyethylene construction makes handling, transport and on-site assembly much easier. These tanks feature standardised top access points for the quick installation of suction systems, filling nozzles and ventilation elements. The versatility of the modular design ensures a perfect fit for complex spaces, making it easy to expand the fuel storage capacity in the future without the need for major structural work.

Advantages and applications of the diesel tank range

• Certified double protection through integrated tank technology, with no construction work required.
• Manufactured from high-density polyethylene that is leak-proof and completely corrosion-resistant.
• Modular, combinable design to progressively increase total storage capacity.
• Wide range of capacities available, from 750 to 2,000 litres, for domestic or commercial use.
• Suitable for central heating systems, generator sets and refuelling stations.

Criteria for choosing the ideal diesel tank for your project

When selecting your Schutz tank, it is essential to consider local regulations on fuel storage and the space available on the property. If the location does not have an existing leak-proof sump, the Tank in Tank PE-AD range is the ideal choice due to its integrated safety certification. On the other hand, if you are looking to create a compact linear layout in a prepared area, the modular models offer maximum performance per square metre.

Assess the seasonal consumption of your boiler or machinery to determine the ideal capacity between 750 litres and 2,000 litres. Having a correctly sized tank reduces the frequency of refuelling and optimises the long-term cost of managing diesel. Explore the products in the Schutz range and equip your installation with components of the highest quality and guaranteed safety.
