Duropolymer® skirting boards

Duropolymer® skirting boards offer a high-density technical solution for finishing the junction between wall and floor with absolute elegance. Manufactured using extrusion processes based on rigid polystyrene, these decorative profiles offer superior resistance to everyday impacts, scratches and water ingress, making them the perfect finishing touch for high-specification refurbishments.

Technical properties and durability of Duropolymer®

This collection stands out for its water-repellent, non-warping composition, making it suitable for installation in damp rooms such as bathrooms and kitchens without the risk of swelling. Their surface comes pre-treated with a white factory-applied primer, allowing the skirting boards to be repainted as often as you like with water-based or synthetic paints to match the colour scheme of your rooms perfectly.

The range includes multifunctional models, flexible options for curved walls and designs with an integrated cable channel that allow electrical installations to be concealed completely discreetly. Thanks to their light weight and the consistency of the material, extremely precise mitre cuts can be made without splintering, ensuring invisible joints and professional-quality finishes all the way round.

Skirting board formats and advantages of polymer profiles

Available in standardised strips 2000 mm in length, the skirting boards range in height from discreet 20 mm profiles to impressive 250 mm options. This range of sizes makes it easy to choose the ideal proportion to enhance the height of your ceilings, harmonising perfectly with ceramic tiles as well as vinyl, laminate or wooden flooring.

The key features that make this extruded polymer collection a smart choice for your projects include the following qualities:

• Manufactured from high-density polymer, ensuring maximum resistance to impacts, mops and everyday scuffs.
• A pre-primed surface with a white primer, ready to be painted and customised to match the exact colour of your walls.
• A 100% water-resistant structure, ideal for protecting the base of partition walls in areas exposed to constant damp.
• Models with an internal cable-pass-through cavity to route wiring and maintain a clean, tidy appearance.
• ‘Flex’ versions are available in the catalogue, allowing them to adapt easily to columns, arches and curved partition walls.

They are recommended for use in private homes, offices, hotels and commercial premises with high footfall. Choosing Duropolymer® skirting boards guarantees you a lightweight decorative element that is easy to install using a specialised adhesive, fully customisable and designed to remain intact over time.
