Properties of porcelain stoneware in relation to water and the elements

The use of high-density porcelain stoneware on overflowing edges ensures maximum slip resistance, allowing safe barefoot passage in areas with a constant film of water. Its compact structure is non-porous, preventing disinfectants or the continuous use of salt chlorination from altering the surface or the ceramic colours.

Key functional advantages that guarantee the longevity of this technical range for outdoor areas and infinity pools:

• Certified anti-slip properties: a rough-to-the-touch finish that prevents accidental falls on wet pool decks and drainage perimeters.
• Resistance to chemicals and salinity: an inert material that is not eroded by commercial chlorine or salt chlorination systems.
• High resistance to thermal changes: porcelain body that withstands night-time frost, intense sunlight and drastic temperature fluctuations.
• Hygiene and easy maintenance: a waterproof surface that prevents the build-up of mould or bacteria, making it quick to clean.

Horizon effect and landscape integration on the terrace

Opting for stone-effect overflow edges is the perfect choice for those seeking to blend mineral elegance with modern aquatic architecture. You’ll achieve a functional and safe swimming pool that will retain its timeless beauty whatever the season.
