APE’s Switch Collection

APE’s Switch Collection redefines the aesthetic of small-format ceramic tiles, combining a design inspired by traditional craftsmanship with the dynamism offered by its finishes and geometric patterns. This range stands out for its ability to transform walls into living works of art through contrasting textures, where matt surfaces and dazzling highlights coexist to create unique visual combinations. It is the ideal choice for those looking to refresh their rooms with a touch of traditional charm and cutting-edge technology.

Colour palette and finishes in the Switch Series

This collection offers a sophisticated and balanced colour palette, ideal for infusing any interior space with personality. Notable shades include crisp White, timeless Grey, deep Graphite, serene Blue, intense Dark Blue and distinguished Victorian Green, allowing you to create contrasting or monochromatic combinations with a striking decorative impact.

The range’s great visual appeal lies in the duality of its surfaces and the subtle variation in shade between individual tiles:

• On Gloss range: Ceramic surfaces with a gloss finish that bring brightness and optical reflections.
• Off Matt Range: Tiles with a soft-touch matt finish that convey serenity and elegance.
• Moderate colour variation: Controlled colour variation between tiles that accentuates the handcrafted look of the installation.
• Special finishing pieces: Accessories such as the Edge Stick (1.5 x 30 cm) for creating clean finishes and corners.

A variety of formats and shapes in APE’s Switch range

With a white paste coating primer, the series offers a modular selection designed to adapt to various architectural styles and laying patterns. The rectangular tiles allow for herringbone, traditional interlocking or vertical alignment installations, whilst their geometric shapes bring a dynamic flair directly to the walls.

The dimensions available within the range cover a variety of stylistic solutions:

• Elongated rectangular format: 4.3 x 24.3 cm tiles, ideal for stylised designs and continuous patterns.
• Compact rectangular format: 6.2 x 12.5 cm tiles (Power) designed for compact layouts and accent areas.
• Hexagonal format: 10 x 11 cm tiles (Hexa Off) for walls with character and a distinctly dynamic feel.

Technical durability and decorative versatility of the collection

Manufactured as a top-quality white-body wall tile, the Switch series guarantees a lightweight yet durable ceramic body, ideal for perfect adhesion to interior vertical surfaces. Its low porosity prevents moisture absorption and makes daily maintenance and cleaning tasks in the home easier.

Thanks to its technical performance and rich palette of finishes, it is an optimal ceramic solution for installation in:

• Kitchen splashbacks: Splash-resistant surfaces that combine ease of cleaning with exclusive design.
• Bathroom walls: Wall tiles for shower or washbasin areas that are resistant to direct contact with moisture.
• Accent walls: Feature walls in living rooms, dining rooms, retail outlets or hospitality venues seeking to stand out.
