Barbecues

Having the right outdoor barbecue transforms any garden or terrace into the perfect spot for enjoying outdoor cooking. Choosing the perfect model depends on how often you’ll use it, the space available and the materials used.

Advantages of installing a firebrick barbecue

Installing a barbecue made from refractory bricks ensures optimal heat retention during extended cooking sessions. This special material withstands extreme temperatures without cracking, optimising fuel consumption whether you’re using charcoal or natural firewood.

Thanks to their high thermal inertia, these firebrick modules distribute the heat evenly across the entire grill. This ensures meat, fish and vegetables are browned to perfection, whilst significantly reducing sudden temperature fluctuations during cooking.

Metal and built-in barbecues for the garden

The metal versions, made from thick sheet metal, feature finishes with high-resistance heat-resistant paint. These structures stand out for their ease of assembly and mobility, allowing you to reposition the cooking area according to the practical needs of your garden or terrace.

On the other hand, built-in models incorporate auxiliary work areas, stone worktops and lower wood-storage compartments. Their structural robustness ensures long-lasting performance in the face of rain and direct sunlight, whilst maintaining a clean aesthetic that blends seamlessly with the outdoor architecture.

Key features of outdoor cooking systems

• Modules fitted with height-adjustable grills to control the intensity of the flame.
• Extraction hoods designed to efficiently channel smoke outwards.
• Internal linings made of refractory materials to maximise heat efficiency.
• Removable ash trays that simplify the cleaning process after each use.

Tips for positioning and maintaining your barbecue

To ensure safe installation, place the unit on a firm, level and non-combustible base. Maintaining an adequate distance from trees, awnings or flammable materials avoids unnecessary risks and ensures the smooth evacuation of smoke via natural air currents.

Regular maintenance extends the lifespan of your outdoor cooking equipment. Removing cold ashes after each use and cleaning the cooking grills with specialised brushes prevents the build-up of grease and ensures pure flavours at every culinary gathering.
