APE’s Calacatta Slow Collection

APE’s Calacatta Slow Collection embodies an aesthetic philosophy inspired by the ‘slow life’ movement, inviting you to slow down and enjoy your home environment. This exclusive range of porcelain stoneware brings the sophistication of Calacatta marble into your home through a serene design that enhances the light.

Rectified sizes and finishes in APE’s Calacatta Slow

The collection offers a wide variety of square and rectangular formats, ranging in size from 120 x 120 cm, 60 x 120 cm, 90 x 90 cm and 60 x 60 cm. The range includes options in a matt finish and high-gloss polished accents, alongside the exclusive Decor Set.

Each piece stands out for its surface with subtle tonal variations, displaying organic grey and golden veining that faithfully recreates the depth of natural stone quarried from a stonework. APE’s technology ensures exceptional graphic clarity that masks everyday wear and tear in interior spaces.

The high-precision rectified edges allow for technical installation with minimal, virtually invisible joints, maximising the continuity of the space. This feature is ideal for flooring and wall cladding in open-plan living areas, master suites, stately entrance halls or spa-style bathrooms.

Its refined appearance blends perfectly with contemporary, minimalist or avant-garde furnishings. The subtle warmth of its veining helps to connect the interior spaces of your home, achieving an impeccable visual balance that significantly enhances the overall architecture of your renovation.

The strength of porcelain tiles and hassle-free maintenance

Manufactured from compact-body porcelain stoneware, the Calacatta Slow range stands out for its exceptional structural strength when subjected to continuous foot traffic. Its ceramic body withstands the constant friction from furniture and light impacts, retaining its texture and colour intensity unchanged over the years.

The material’s low porosity prevents the absorption of moisture, condensation or commonly used cleaning chemicals. This waterproof technical property makes it a safe and hygienic covering for flooring or wall cladding in areas exposed to water or steam, such as kitchens.

Unlike natural marble slabs, this ceramic flooring requires no protective waxes, sealants or costly periodic polishing and crystallisation processes. Its routine maintenance is quick and economical: it only requires regular sweeping and basic scrubbing with neutral, everyday cleaners.

APE manufactures this range to strict standards of sustainability and industrial innovation to ensure durable tiles that fit perfectly. By choosing this durable porcelain flooring, you are guaranteed a sophisticated solution that enhances your rooms with complete safety, hygiene, elegance and timeless comfort.
