The Catai Collection in Mijares

The Catai collection by Mijares presents a carefully curated range of stone-effect ceramic wall tiles designed to transform walls into highly dynamic surfaces. Its finish helps to create fresh and welcoming environments, combining the elegance of stone with the benefits of ceramic technology.

Visual richness and colour palette of the Catai Collection

This range is available in timeless colour options such as Catai White, Catai Grey and Catai Graphite, allowing for the creation of either luminous or high-contrast designs. The subtle variation between the tiles lends a natural feel that can completely renew the aesthetic perception of a room.

The surface features a textured design whose reliefs react to light, projecting nuances that break up the monotony of the smooth walls traditionally used. This three-dimensional quality makes it easy to clad entire walls or create accent panels that draw the eye in contemporary projects.

The collection’s neutral tones coordinate effortlessly with wooden floors, neutral finishes and metal or glass features. By incorporating this range into your renovation, you’ll ensure a timeless and versatile result that complements both avant-garde styles and rustic or urban-inspired settings.

The consistent quality of the tiles ensures seamless transitions between them, creating a visual continuity that adds a sense of spaciousness. The mineral aesthetic of the Catai range gives each space its own unique identity without compromising on the comfort demanded by modern interior design.

Format and durability properties of Mijares’ Catai range

Developed by Mijares to rigorous industrial quality standards, this range stands out for its excellent technical qualities for vertical cladding. Among the most significant characteristics defining the performance of the tiles in the Catai collection are:

• Stylised 10x50 cm format: An elongated proportion sold in boxes of 0.75 m², allowing for horizontal, vertical or herringbone installation.
• High-strength ceramic body: A dense and stable body manufactured to ensure long-lasting durability on interior walls.
• Low-porosity structure: An impermeable material that repels moisture, effectively preventing the appearance of stains and efflorescence.
• Hygienic glazed surface: A finish resistant to daily wear and tear that withstands frequent cleaning with standard sanitary products.
• Simple and quick maintenance: Easy day-to-day cleaning that only requires periodic washing using lukewarm water and neutral household cleaners.

Versatility of application in interior design projects

Its excellent resistance to ambient damp makes the Catai series by Mijares the perfect choice for bathroom cladding. The glazed surface prevents the build-up of mould and germs, ensuring that areas exposed to water remain spotless with minimal effort.

Similarly, its elongated format is ideal for cladding kitchen fronts, splashbacks, hallways, entrance halls or living rooms that require texture. Choosing the Catai series for your renovation means opting for a high-quality, durable and aesthetically balanced ceramic wall tile.
