The Origen Collection by Gaya Fores

The Origen Collection by Gaya Fores pays tribute to the warm and comforting character of reclaimed wood through a porcelain stoneware tile of exceptional aesthetic value. This range stands out for capturing the unique character of aged planks, lending a rustic and vintage feel to any renovation project.

Vintage design and a palette of shades in Gaya Fores’ Origen range

Available in a practical 15x90 cm elongated plank format in boxes of 1.08 m², this range faithfully reproduces the visual texture of treated timber. The range features rich shades such as Origen Natural, Origen Dark, Origen Miel and Origen Gris, designed to blend effortlessly into both traditional and contemporary settings.

Its carefully crafted matt finish with a natural feel reduces light reflections in the room whilst highlighting the beauty of the ceramic pattern. The collection stands out for its pronounced colour variation between tiles, simulating the wear, patina and varied grain patterns characteristic of aged timber to create unique and highly expressive floor coverings.

The versatility of the range allows it to be used on main floors and walls in living rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms or designer commercial premises. Furthermore, the range includes an option with an optional non-slip finish, ideal for extending the wood-effect design into wet areas, shower trays or outdoor terraces.

Advantages of porcelain tiles over maintenance-free parquet

Manufactured from premium-quality porcelain stoneware under Gaya Fores’ technical guarantee, this range offers exceptional durability against continuous daily use. Its solid ceramic body resists abrasion, scratches and everyday impacts, keeping the colour nuances intact without suffering the wear and tear typical of real wood.

As it is a low-porosity, highly waterproof ceramic wood, it does not require the troublesome process of periodic planing, sanding or varnishing. This technical barrier repels dirt, water splashes and household grease, whilst also preventing the formation of mould or bacteria in damp environments.

Daily maintenance of the tiles is quick, simple and very economical, as all you need is water and everyday neutral detergents to keep the surface spotless. With Origen, you’ll enjoy the aesthetic warmth of traditional wood combined with the strength, durability and hygiene of the most advanced ceramic material.
