APE’s Hexawork Collection

APE’s Hexawork Collection is revolutionising contemporary ceramic design with a unique hexagonal format that blends the textures of industrial concrete with the warmth of wood. This versatile range is designed to create dynamic, sophisticated spaces brimming with visual character in both residential and commercial projects.

Aesthetic concept and geometric finishes of APE’s Hexawork

This range is based on a hexagonal geometry in a compact 17.5 x 20.2 cm format, sold in practical 0.71 m² boxes. The colour palette includes concrete-inspired base shades such as Bianco, Cenere, Coal and Taupe, alongside the natural texture of wood in its W Natural version and the combined Mix option.

The collection stands out for its carefully crafted matt finish with a soft-touch surface, which prevents annoying glare and enhances the urban character of its designs. Its geometric design allows for the creation of honeycomb patterns, elegant gradients or the definition of bespoke ceramic ‘rugs’ in living rooms, kitchens, bathrooms and hallways.

Technical performance of APE Cerámica’s porcelain tiles

Manufactured by the renowned firm APE Cerámica to the highest quality standards, the Hexawork range utilises a solid porcelain stoneware body. Its excellent resistance to continuous footfall, impacts and daily wear and tear ensures that the tiles retain their colour tones and structural integrity unchanged with use.

The low intrinsic porosity of the ceramic body provides superb protection against water absorption and the setting of stains on frequently used surfaces. Day-to-day maintenance is extremely simple, requiring only water and standard neutral detergents, which guarantees effective disinfection without the need for waxes or sealants.
