Ape’s Koen Collection

The Koen Collection by Ape Grupo is a sophisticated range of ceramic tiles designed to redefine the design of indoor and outdoor flooring. This range combines the aesthetic elegance of fine woods with the advanced technical benefits of modern porcelain tiles, creating welcoming, serene spaces imbued with timeless style.

A variety of formats and colour palette in Koen Ape

This comprehensive collection stands out for its wide variety of sizes, including slender planks measuring 20x120 cm and 30x120 cm, wall tiles measuring 40x120 cm, and square modules measuring 80x80 cm. Its colour palette includes the warm shades Caramello, Miele and Naturale, as well as decorative cassette-style patterns such as Zaiku or the Ki relief.

Each piece features a soft, non-glare matt finish that reduces light reflections and feels very pleasant to the touch. The carefully defined grain patterns realistically replicate the beauty of natural wood, lending a great sense of warmth to living rooms, bedrooms, hallways or commercial projects.

Thanks to its wide range of dimensions, the range allows you to create bespoke layouts that visually expand the space in any room. Its versatile design blends effortlessly into Nordic, minimalist, rustic chic or contemporary projects, coordinating perfectly with modern furniture and neutral-toned wall coverings.

High technical performance and stair accessories

Manufactured from high-strength porcelain stoneware by Ape, the range withstands constant footfall without losing its original graphic definition. Its robust technical structure effectively withstands daily wear and tear, scratches and light impacts, offering a durable and reliable floor covering that retains its beauty over time.

The collection offers versions with a high-safety anti-slip finish, making it the ideal solution for high-traffic areas or damp rooms. It also features special pieces such as straight stair treads measuring 33x120 cm, 15x120 cm skirting tiles, and 8x60 cm edge tiles and skirting boards for a flawless finish.

Unlike organic wood flooring, this porcelain tile requires no waxes, oils or regular polishing to maintain its gleaming appearance. Its day-to-day maintenance is quick and very economical; a routine wipe-down with clean water and everyday neutral detergents is sufficient to ensure the surface remains hygienic and clean at all times.

Furthermore, the material is highly compatible with underfloor heating systems, promoting an even distribution of heat across the entire surface. This technical advantage optimises energy efficiency in winter, ensuring superior thermal comfort in the home whilst preserving the integrity of the floor.
