Argenta’s Makalu Collection

Argenta’s Makalu Collection is a high-quality ceramic range designed specifically to transform interior walls with sophistication. Available in an elegant 40x120 cm rectangular format, this range perfectly combines modern aesthetics with everyday practicality. Its matt finish provides a texture that is soft to the touch, bringing warmth to the room and making it an ideal solution for durable wall coverings in contemporary refurbishment projects.

Colour range and soft texture in Argenta’s Makalu

Inspired by neutral, serene tones, the Makalu colour palette is divided into two main variants: Grey and Cream. The Grey option offers contemporary grey shades ideal for urban spaces, whilst the Cream tone brings understated warmth to any room. With its matt finish, the surface minimises direct light reflections, creating a cosy, balanced and relaxing visual effect on any wall.

The tiles in this range stand out for their uniform, pleasant-to-the-touch surface, designed to conceal fingerprints or minor everyday marks. Their carefully crafted graphic design mimics the subtle variations found in natural stone, offering a nature-inspired aesthetic that remains timeless. This versatility allows you to harmoniously combine the tiles with wooden furniture, metallic elements or textile accents.

Large dimensions and decorative relief in the collection

Makalu’s sleek 40x120 cm format is optimised to streamline installation on large vertical surfaces. By using large-format tiles, the number of visible joints is significantly reduced, resulting in a more uniform and easy-to-clean ceramic surface. This technical feature is perfect for enhancing the perception of space in areas such as bathrooms, showers, kitchens or living room feature walls.

To enhance interior design projects, the range includes the embossed Makalu Top Grey and Makalu Top Cream models. These three-dimensional tiles add dynamism to walls through subtle three-dimensional compositions that play with ambient light. You can use these designs to highlight specific areas of a room, such as the feature wall by the washbasin or a decorative feature in the dining room.

Moisture resistance and low-maintenance interior

Manufactured from high-strength ceramic materials, the Makalu Collection stands out for its excellent resistance to moisture and water vapour. Its low porosity prevents the absorption of liquids or the growth of mould on the walls, making it a hygienic and reliable choice for tiling damp areas. Furthermore, it withstands contact with standard cleaning products without altering its original texture or colour.

Day-to-day maintenance of the tiling is quick and extremely practical for today’s fast-paced lifestyle. Simply wipe with a damp cloth or a soft sponge to keep the surface spotless and free from dirt. Thanks to its high resistance to wear and tear and everyday scratches, this Argenta range represents a long-lasting investment for cladding homes or commercial spaces in constant use.
