Mainzu’s Normandy Collection

Mainzu’s Normandy Collection transforms wall tiles by capturing the cosy essence of traditional rustic style in a truly versatile square format. This ceramic range evokes the charm of traditional country houses, bringing warmth, solidity and a refined artisanal touch to any room in the home.

Artisanal inspiration and the colour palette of the Normandy Series

The rich visual appeal of this range is highlighted by its iconic designs: Ruan, Caen, Fiora, Lemont, Sena, Yport, St Michael, Lyons and Herve. Each piece features subtle colour variations that recreate the natural patina of age, creating an enveloping chromatic effect that adorns the walls with a truly distinctive character.

To enhance the spatial design, the collection includes the sophisticated decorative pieces ‘Centro’, ‘Ángulo’ and ‘Cenefa’ in White and Black versions. Combining these base tiles with the geometric motifs allows you to create skirting boards or complete murals, personalising every room with a rustic yet highly elegant style.

Technical specifications and dimensions of Mainzu Normandy

Meticulously developed by specialist firm Mainzu, the Normandy range combines the beauty of timeless design with impeccable technical performance for interiors. Its advanced manufacturing processes ensure durable tiles that are easy to install on walls, backed by the collection’s key technical specifications:

• 20x20 cm modular format: A traditional square size that simplifies layout planning and speeds up wall installation.
• Matt surface finish: A soft finish that softens light reflections, accentuating the warm texture of the ceramic.
• Low porosity and high strength: A dense ceramic body that withstands daily use in areas exposed to ambient moisture.
• Technical Soft range: Soft Shell, Basil, Sea and Koala finishes offering silky surfaces that are extremely pleasant to the touch.

Waterproof protection and daily cleaning routine

The high-density glaze applied by Mainzu ensures that each tile is watertight when in contact with water and common liquids. This waterproof property acts as a protective barrier, preventing dirt from becoming embedded and blocking the formation of bacteria or mould on the walls.

Regular maintenance of these ceramic walls is extremely straightforward on a day-to-day basis, with no need for additional sealants or special polishes. To keep the tiles looking immaculate and ensure easy, effective cleaning, simply wipe the surface with a sponge dampened with soapy water.

Decorative versatility for renovation projects

The combination of their plain backgrounds with a variety of centrepieces and borders allows you to design bespoke wall schemes tailored to your project. Choosing Mainzu’s Normandy Collection guarantees you an exclusive, personalised design backed by the prestige, technical expertise and tradition of a leading manufacturer.
