Porcelanite’s Obi 1955 Collection

Porcelanite’s Obi 1955 Collection combines the timeless elegance of a stone effect with the highest technical standards demanded by contemporary design. Available in an impressive 100 x 100 cm format, this range is the ideal choice for creating modern, understated spaces with a clean aesthetic that stand out for their great sophistication in any setting.

Anti-slip properties and texture in Obi 1955

This range is characterised by its refined, soft-touch matt finish, which prevents annoying glare in rooms. Its integrated anti-slip treatment provides optimum grip in areas prone to damp or heavy footfall, ensuring safety with every step without compromising the surface’s refined appearance.

Its large-format tiles cover extensive areas of the floor, reducing the number of visible joints. Furthermore, its square-cut, rectified edges allow for almost imperceptible joints, creating a sense of spaciousness and continuity in living rooms, kitchens, bathrooms and terraces.

The Obi 1955 colour palette brings together neutral and inspiring shades such as White, Sand, Pearl and Ash. These soft shades capture natural light and provide impeccable visual balance, making them the ideal canvas on which to develop interior design projects with a timeless and understated style.

Special pieces and the durability of Porcelanite porcelain tiles

To ensure flawless installation on staircases and perimeter finishes, the collection includes a comprehensive set of coordinated technical cut-out diagrams. It includes rounded treads, risers and corner pieces in 33 x 100 cm, accompanied by skirting boards measuring 7.5 x 100 cm and stair nosings for a fully integrated design.

Manufactured from compact-body porcelain stoneware, this flooring offers exceptional mechanical hardness against scratches, thermal shock and impact. Its high density gives it high resistance to wear from continuous footfall, making it ideal for demanding domestic environments and commercial premises.

The extremely low porosity of this material prevents moisture from penetrating and repels grease and cleaning chemicals. Day-to-day maintenance is quick and very simple, requiring only water and mild, neutral cleaners to maintain a consistently flawless stone-like appearance.
