APE’s Onyx Slow Collection

APE’s Onyx Slow Collection draws inspiration from the philosophy of wellbeing to create serene, open and tranquil spaces within the home. Drawing on the visual beauty of natural onyx, this ceramic range combines delicate mineral tones with contemporary finishes designed to harmonise with balanced environments where family life can be enjoyed authentically.

Mineral aesthetics and decorative variations in APE’s Onyx Slow

Inspired by the translucency and subtle veining of onyx, this range features a refined pattern in a serene, exceptionally smooth matt finish. Its neutral surface reduces light reflections, allowing you to create relaxing ceramic ‘canvases’ that stand out for their elegant simplicity and a touch of timeless sophistication in any interior space.

To add dynamism and personality to wall designs, the collection includes the Bohemian Onyx Slow decorative tiles and the eye-catching large-format Decor Set Feather Onyx wall panel. It also features hexagonal mosaics such as Hexagon Onyx Slow and Hexagon Boho in 13.9x16 cm, ideal for creating separate areas in showers, on wall fronts or in small corners.

A variety of formats and technical finishing pieces

The range stands out for its enormous dimensional flexibility, offering large rectified slabs in 40x120 cm and 60x60 cm for continuous wall and floor cladding. These rectified tiles minimise the number of joints between tiles, whilst smaller sizes such as 7.5x30 cm allow for traditional laying patterns such as the interlocking or herringbone styles.

To finish off demanding projects, the collection includes the Edge Stick Onyx Slow finishing moulding in 1.5x30 cm, designed to provide a clean, precise finish to corners or tile edges. The highly wear-resistant ceramic body ensures that the material retains its smooth texture and integrity over time.

Low porosity and practical maintenance for everyday use

Produced to rigorous technical standards, the surface of Onyx Slow prevents the build-up of moisture or the absorption of stains in bathrooms and kitchens. Its non-porous structure guarantees a hygienic and durable finish that withstands continuous use in areas of the home exposed to steam or daily cleaning.

Daily cleaning is quick and straightforward, requiring only a soft cloth and standard neutral cleaners to keep surfaces spotless. Thanks to its versatile aesthetic, this APE range blends harmoniously with natural wood furniture, modern taps and neutral textiles to create welcoming and well-balanced spaces.
