Vives’ Orsa Basic Collection

Vives’ Orsa Basic Collection offers a versatile range of ceramic floor tiles that masterfully replicate the warm charm of wood. Meticulously designed to bring balance and sophistication to contemporary projects, this range stands out for its refined technical qualities, ensuring maximum durability and a timeless style in both residential spaces and high-traffic commercial areas.

Rectified sizes and colourways of the Orsa Basic range

This collection offers two stylish plank options: 14.4 × 89.3 cm and 21.8 × 89.3 cm, both supplied in boxes containing 1.286 m² and 1.363 m² respectively. Its colour range includes the select shades of White, Ash, Moss, Hazelnut and Beige, allowing for the creation of dynamic visual compositions suited to any architectural space.

Each piece features a soft, non-reflective matt finish that effectively conceals footprints and everyday dirt. The intricate definition of its grain patterns replicates the organic warmth of natural timber planks, providing an air of understated elegance and consistent tactile comfort throughout the room.

Thanks to the variety of its elongated plank formats, the range lends itself to creative installation patterns such as herringbone, planked or continuous linear layouts. Its neutral aesthetic blends effortlessly into Nordic, rustic, industrial or minimalist-inspired interiors, coordinating perfectly with modern furniture and soft textiles.

Ceramic hardness and performance of the Orsa Basic Vives Series

Manufactured from high-quality ceramic stoneware by Vives, this collection ensures outstanding technical strength and resistance to continuous wear and tear. Its compact structure withstands daily friction, abrasion and mechanical scuffing, guaranteeing that the surface retains the vibrancy of its original colour without showing any signs of deterioration.

The flooring stands out for its low porosity and high water resistance, which acts as a protective technical barrier against water seepage and deep stains. This hygienic quality prevents the build-up of damp and makes the collection entirely suitable for installation in bathrooms, kitchens or hallways.

Unlike traditional parquet, this flooring requires no waxes, sealing treatments or regular polishing to maintain its natural elegance. Daily cleaning is extremely practical and cost-effective; regular sweeping followed by mopping with clean water and standard neutral detergents is sufficient.

Furthermore, the material offers excellent dimensional stability in the face of temperature changes, maintaining its performance intact over the years. By choosing this durable ceramic alternative, you can adorn your floors with the timeless warmth of wood using an eco-friendly product that simplifies maintenance during your renovation.
