The Rapolano 1867 Collection by Porcelanite

Porcelanite’s Rapolano 1867 Collection pays a masterful tribute to natural stone through a contemporary ceramic design with a serene spirit. This porcelain range combines the tactile elegance of rock formations with the superior properties of modern stoneware, allowing you to adorn any interior space with timeless and highly versatile architectural refinement.

Mineral inspiration and tonal variations of Rapolano 1867

Inspired by the organic veining of rock, this collection features a select range of timeless shades comprising the White, Grey and Caramel finishes. Its meticulous design faithfully reproduces the subtle colour variations of stone, lending a unique visual warmth that blends effortlessly into living rooms, kitchens, bathrooms or hallways.

The collection stands out for its large-scale square format of 100 x 100 cm, designed to cover floors and walls with fewer visual divisions. In addition, the range includes matching special pieces such as rounded stair treads, angular risers, stair nosings and 7.5 x 100 cm skirting boards to finish staircases and perimeter edges.

Its understated matt finish offers a texture that is soft to the touch, preventing unnecessary light reflections whilst effectively concealing the everyday marks caused by regular foot traffic. With this range, you’ll be able to create spaces of great serenity and distinction that will retain their aesthetic charm completely intact over the years.

Rectified edge and the maintenance benefits of porcelain

Crafted from porcelain stoneware of the highest hardness and density, the collection offers excellent resistance to continuous footfall, scratches and direct impacts. Its robust structure ensures consistent performance in heavily used homes or commercial premises with medium footfall that seek to maintain a flawless appearance.

Thanks to the precise rectification of its edges, each tile features perfectly calibrated edges that allow for installation with minimal grout lines. This technical feature enhances the perception of continuous, expansive surfaces, reducing the visual disruption caused by joints to enhance the overall aesthetics of the space.

The extremely low porosity of the ceramic body prevents the absorption of moisture, household chemicals and oils, thereby preventing any deep staining of the surface. This waterproof quality significantly simplifies daily cleaning tasks, allowing for quick and easy maintenance using only water and neutral detergents.
