Realonda’s Chess Collection

Realonda’s Chess Collection reinvents the traditional chequerboard pattern with a contemporary and characterful twist. This porcelain stoneware range stands out for its striking geometric patterns, bringing visual rhythm, personality and timeless elegance to any interior design project.

Graphic design, style and finishes in Realonda’s Chess range

Inspired by the classic chequerboard pattern, the range features refined designs in the Marquina, Marquina Gold, Jungle and Bardiglio finishes. Its detailed veining and botanical or marbled nuances reinterpret traditional geometry with a sophisticated and highly versatile touch for your renovation projects.

The collection features a very soft satin finish that offers a texture pleasant to the touch and reduces light reflections. This silky surface enhances the design’s colour intensity, achieving a highly elegant visual effect in both contemporary and retro settings.

The range is presented in a balanced 44 x 44 cm square format that makes it easy to align tiles on the floor. These universal proportions allow you to lay out continuous grids quickly, ensuring a perfect fit between tiles and a clean, orderly aesthetic across the entire floor surface.

The richness of its geometric design acts as a central decorative feature in any room of your home. Its designs fit effortlessly into living rooms, kitchens, bathrooms or hallways, blending perfectly with natural wood furniture, metallic elements and textiles in neutral tones.

Durability and ease of maintenance of the Chess porcelain tiles

Crafted from top-quality porcelain stoneware, the Chess range guarantees exceptional durability against frequent foot traffic. Its compact body resists abrasion, minor scratches and everyday impacts, whilst keeping the colour definition and geometric patterns intact.

The extremely low porosity of its porcelain body acts as a waterproof barrier against spills, water and damp. This quality prevents dirt from becoming embedded and avoids accidental stains, ensuring quick and easy cleaning through the daily use of water and neutral soaps.

Thanks to their excellent dimensional stability, the tiles do not warp, expand or lose their colour over the years. Their stable performance in the face of temperature fluctuations ensures a durable and practical floor covering in any area of regular use.

Realonda manufactures this collection in Spain, adhering to rigorous technical control and environmental sustainability processes. Choosing these geometric-style porcelain tiles represents a very wise investment that combines innovative design and high durability to enhance the value of your home.
