Mainzu’s Scudo Collection

Mainzu’s Scudo Collection pays a refined tribute to the majesty of classical architecture, combining the charm of traditional geometric patterns with cutting-edge ceramic performance. This range of porcelain stoneware reimagines the historic elegance of terrazzo flooring, transforming your rooms into spaces characterised by a balanced, distinguished and timeless aesthetic.

Geometric designs and colour palette of the Scudo Series

This varied decorative range stands out for its precise compositions inspired by traditional architectural geometry. The colour palette includes understated shades such as White, Cream, Azurro and Nero, which blend in perfect harmony with the expressive decorative patterns of the Canaletto White and Canaletto Black models to create unique combinations.

Its carefully designed 20x20 cm format is ideal for creating continuous ceramic ‘rugs’ or cladding vertical surfaces with great aesthetic appeal. The balanced, soft-textured matt finish reduces glare from direct light, fostering a serene and welcoming atmosphere in dining rooms, kitchens, hallways or bathrooms in both neoclassical and contemporary styles.

Porcelain strength and C2 slip resistance

Manufactured on a solid base of top-quality porcelain stoneware, the Scudo collection guarantees exceptional durability against everyday foot traffic. It is certified to Class 2 anti-slip standards, providing an ideal, firm surface for tiling areas exposed to occasional contact with water or domestic damp.

Its extremely low porosity prevents the absorption of everyday stains and the seepage of liquids, ensuring that the details of its geometric patterns remain completely intact after years of use. Furthermore, its daily upkeep is quick and practical, requiring only water and neutral soaps, with no need for polishes or sealants.
