Realonda’s Star Collection

Realonda’s Star Collection is an innovative reinterpretation of traditional Mediterranean hydraulic tiles, blending the aesthetic nostalgia of antique ceramic mosaics with the most advanced properties of porcelain stoneware. Designed to transform any interior space into a refined room with a distinctive visual character, this range strikes a balance between technical durability and artisanal elegance in residential refurbishments or commercial projects.

Hydraulic inspiration and Star’s colour palette

This range stands out for its 44x44 cm square format, supplied in 1.37 m² boxes, which features a subtle surface cut-out imitating four 22x22 cm square tiles to faithfully recreate the classic scale of traditional hydraulic tiles. Its colour palette includes timeless options such as Star White, Star Sage and Star Navy, with subtle V2-grade tonal variations that visually enrich the installed surface.

Its carefully crafted satin finish with a smooth texture offers a subtle and balanced reflection of light, reducing glare in the room and minimising the visibility of everyday marks. The richness of its concentric geometries makes it easy to design defined zones, ceramic ‘rugs’ or continuous flooring in living rooms, dining rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, hallways and entrance halls with a vintage or contemporary aesthetic.

The tiles’ timeless design allows the floor to be coordinated with a wide variety of interior design materials, from natural and industrial wood furniture to stone worktops or polished metals. If you wish to renovate your rooms by adding an enveloping focal point full of character, this range is the perfect solution to enhance the light and warmth of your home.

Properties and durability of Realonda porcelain stoneware

Manufactured from high-density porcelain stoneware by the prestigious Realonda brand, this collection ensures outstanding mechanical resistance to heavy daily footfall, impact and abrasion. Its solid structure keeps the clarity of the original pigments and graphic details intact over time, even when frequently exposed to natural light.

The material’s waterproof composition ensures minimal moisture absorption, making the tiles a hygienic covering suitable for both floor and vertical wall applications. This non-porous barrier prevents dirt or accidental liquid spills from penetrating the body, protecting the tiles against the formation of mould or deep stains.

The range also boasts high technical resistance to frost and temperature fluctuations, ensuring complete dimensional stability in air-conditioned interiors or areas exposed to temperature variations. Maintenance is extremely straightforward, requiring only simple cleaning routines using warm water and conventional neutral detergents, with no need for waxes or sealants.
