Exagres’ Torelos collection for stair treads offers the ideal technical solution for finishing staircases with the utmost precision, safety and timeless aesthetic integration. Designed specifically for use in vertical cladding and on stair treads subject to the most demanding conditions, this range stands out for its rounded, torelo-style curved profile. The functional versatility of these pieces allows you to finish off steps, terraces and transition areas between levels, offering absolute protection against continuous wear and tear.

A variety of sizes and types in Exagres Torelos

This technical range features a carefully curated selection of dimensions to match the exact width of your steps, available in sizes such as 5x36 cm and 5x48 cm. Furthermore, the range includes special pieces such as the 3.5x69 cm Half-Moon Torelo, designed to finish off longer steps whilst minimising intermediate joints. Its colour options include classic extrusion shades and innovative inkjet finishes that faithfully replicate natural textures on the ceramic profile.

Structural strength and technical performance in stair treads

Manufactured using Exagres’ rigorous extrusion process, the Torelos for Stair Treads collection stands out for its extreme durability in areas exposed to the elements. Among its most significant construction advantages are:

• Mechanical edge protection: Its curved edge absorbs direct impacts on the stair edges, preventing chipping and fractures.
• Versatile longitudinal format: Multiple length options of 36, 48 and 69 cm that simplify the installation process on site.
• Inkjet finishing technology: Surface designs coordinated with the base flooring to maintain complete colour continuity.
• Thermal shock resistance: Ceramic tiles that withstand severe frost, solar radiation and drastic temperature changes without cracking.
• Hygiene and easy maintenance: Their glazed surface repels dust and dirt, making for quick and easy cleaning with water or neutral detergents.

Recommended applications and safety in high-traffic areas

The torelos in this range are essential for finishing outdoor garden staircases, entrances to homes, swimming pools or high-traffic areas in public buildings. The smooth, rounded shape of the edging eliminates sharp, jagged edges, preventing accidents and providing a very comfortable, ergonomic grip for pedestrians. By coordinating the Exagres Torelos Collection with your ceramic tiles, you’ll ensure a durable, safe and stylish renovation project.
