Porcelanite’s Vancouver 1873 Collection

Porcelanite’s Vancouver 1873 Collection is an innovative ceramic flooring solution designed to redefine interior design through the warmth of natural wood in large formats. With a striking yet serene aesthetic presence, this range combines the visual appeal of solid wood flooring with the maximum durability of state-of-the-art porcelain stoneware.

Large-format dimensions and colour palette of Vancouver 1873

Sold in 1 m² boxes containing large-format square tiles measuring 100x100 cm, the range breaks with traditional ceramic plank designs by translating organic wood grain patterns into large-scale square formats. Its colour palette includes refined shades such as Maple, Walnut and Oak, allowing you to personalise your living and dining rooms with great versatility.

Each tile features an exceptionally smooth matt finish that reduces glare from artificial light and effectively conceals the marks left by daily use. Furthermore, its millimetre-precise rectified edges allow for installations with minimal, ultra-precise joints, creating a continuous, unbroken surface that visually enlarges the rooms.

The advanced digital printing technology used by Porcelanite realistically recreates the nuances, knots and grain of the wood on the large 100x100 cm tiles. This decorative design coordinates in perfect harmony with contemporary-style furniture, industrial elements, neutral walls and natural textiles, adding a touch of exclusive sophistication.

Technical properties and porcelain-like durability in Vancouver 1873 by Porcelanite

Manufactured from high-density porcelain stoneware, this collection ensures outstanding resistance to mechanical wear caused by continuous footfall, impacts and surface abrasion. The stability of its structure ensures that the original colour remains unchanged over time, both in residential homes and in cutting-edge commercial projects.

Its low-porosity porcelain body acts as a protective barrier against moisture and the absorption of staining substances commonly found in domestic use. This technical feature prevents dirt from becoming deeply embedded in kitchens and bathrooms, ensuring a hygienic floor that is highly resistant to common cleaning chemicals.

The tiles’ high thermal conductivity makes them an ideal choice for installation over underfloor heating systems. Their excellent heat transfer ensures an even distribution of temperature throughout the home, whilst maintaining dimensional stability in the face of frequent temperature fluctuations without the risk of cracking.

Daily maintenance of this flooring is quick, simple and extremely cost-effective for any home. All that is required is routine vacuuming or sweeping, followed by a basic wipe-down with water and mild, neutral cleaners to keep the surface gleaming, completely eliminating the need for waxes, varnishes or protective sealants.
