Krafft PU 458 adhesive is a two-component product ideal for bonding artificial grass on surfaces such as mortar, concrete, ceramic, PVC and more. Resistant to humidity and atmospheric agents, it maintains its flexibility after curing, making it suitable for floors.
Complies with the European standard EN 1228, required by FIFA. Its yield is 300 g/m², with a useful mixing time of 40 minutes and final drying after 24 hours. It is easy to apply and durable.

High-performance two-component adhesive for bonding artificial grass Krafft Pu 458. Adheres to mortar, concrete, ceramics, metals, rubbers, pvc, glass... After curing, this adhesive remains flexible making it well suited for flooring applications, and the best solution for artificial grass applications. Experience of use with this adhesive
Our supplier has high experience with glues and adhesives for artificial grass and other sports-related uses. Our installers have used many brands of glue manufactured in Spain, in other European and non-European countries. This has given them the opportunity to compare the properties and features of each other and to be able to select the one that is best for them. They have been able to observe that some adhesives stuck well in winter but with the heat of summer they became so liquid that they were blown away by the wind. Others hit well in summer, but in winter they hardened so quickly that there was no time to spread them over the joining band. Others hit well but when dried they were very hard and split or cracked when it was cold, due to their rigidity. And others simply did not offer the levels of strength and adhesion that a joint should have. After these experiences, they have decided on an adhesive that really works perfectly in both winter and summer. An adhesive that cures and dries well in the 4 seasons of the year, but at the same time leaves enough reaction time to dose the glue in the bonding band and position the grass without hardening prematurely. A strong, resistant, flexible, durable, easy to use glue that complies with European Standard EN 1228, which is the same as that required by FIFA.
Applications
The entire hardener (part A) is mixed and stirred with an automatic mixer at low revolutions (200-300 rpm) until a homogeneous mixture of green color and without streaks is achieved. The mixture is poured onto a clean and dry substrate, spread with a suitable serrated spatula and glued. The useful time of mixing at 20ºC is approximately 40 minutes. It can be walked on after 8 hours, but the final drying of the mixture does not take place until 24 hours after its application. It should never be glued at temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius or above 30 degrees Celsius. Approximate yield (depends a lot on the support): 300 gr/m2. As an example, with a 5 kg jar you can glue 16.5 meters of joint.
