Cotto de Mayor Collection

The Cotto de Cerámica Mayor Collection blends the timeless warmth of traditional terracotta with the technical durability of state-of-the-art extruded stoneware. This range has been designed to clad both indoor and outdoor spaces with a welcoming, natural and deeply elegant aesthetic.

Traditional aesthetics and the colour palette of Cotto by Cerámica Mayor

Inspired by the artisanal beauty of terracotta floors, this collection faithfully reproduces the earthy tones, subtle variations in colour and organic textures of clay. Its Boho-style colour palette brings visual warmth and a refined character, ideal for rustic, contemporary or Mediterranean projects.

The matt finish of the tiles eliminates any dazzling light reflections, offering a natural-looking surface that is very pleasing to the eye and to the touch. This quality allows for the creation of serene and balanced spaces where the ceramic texture becomes the true star of warm and welcoming interiors.

The range is available in a main size of 90 x 90 cm, which promotes spatial continuity through very discreet grout lines. Furthermore, the series includes a complete range of 32.6 x 120 cm straight stair treads, as well as 9 x 60 cm risers and skirting boards to achieve a flawless architectural finish.

Thanks to its neutral and timeless design, this Cerámica Mayor floor tile blends perfectly with fine materials such as wood, natural stone or wrought iron elements. Its graphic versatility allows you to personalise unique spaces with character in both residential homes and commercial premises.

Extruded strength and slip resistance in the Cotto Series

Manufactured using an advanced ceramic extrusion process, the collection offers exceptional mechanical strength against impacts, scratches and everyday wear and tear. Its compact, high-density structure withstands heavy foot traffic without deterioration, ensuring your floor remains in perfect condition at all times.

Designed to ensure complete safety in outdoor areas, terraces, patios and poolside areas, the range includes versions with a non-slip finish. This special texture provides outstanding grip even on completely wet surfaces, preventing accidental slips to give you a firm and very secure footing.

Their extremely low porosity makes these tiles completely impervious to water seepage, vapour or constant damp. This protective barrier prevents premature deterioration of the surface caused by freeze-thaw cycles, ensuring unbeatable durability against harsh outdoor weather conditions.

Maintaining this ceramic tile is extremely practical and straightforward as part of your regular cleaning routine. As it does not require waterproofing treatments or periodic waxing, unlike traditional terracotta, regular scrubbing with water and neutral cleaners is all that is needed for quick and easy upkeep.
