What is the ZERO DUST system?
RUBI is committed to the safety of the professional and for this reason, we have developed the ZERO DUST system in collaboration with the TNO (The Netherlands Organisation for applied scientific research), and within the DUST FREE WORKING program.
The ZERO DUST system reduces the volume of breathable quartz dust particles, and provides a clean and safe working environment.
But how does this system work? When cutting stone materials, quartz dust particles are released into the respirable environment and the user is exposed to their inhalation.
Working with wet cutting electric cutters helps to control the amount of these particles, since water reduces, in a very important way, the dust generated, but this does not mean that the risk of exposure to these particles ceases to exist.
Thanks to the ZERO DUST system, RUBI offers professionals in the sector the first electric cutters, with the TNO certificate for cutting ceramic tiles and natural stone.
All models of electric cutters RUBI DC, DS, DX and DR, manufactured from March 2017 onwards, will include, as standard, the ZERO DUST system.
