The Malta collection by Natucer is a series of extruded porcelain stoneware ceramic wall tiles that combine a spirit of craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics. Available in 10×20 cm (4"×8") format, it offers gloss or matte finishes, a choice of five natural shades (Snow, Glacier, Dove, Cotto and Taupe) and a slight irregularity in edges and surface that adds a modern rustic character. It also has a special demi-bullnose piece for elegant finishes.
The Malta collection is made of high purity white paste, which provides excellent edge definition and greater fidelity in colors and finishes. Thanks to its ceramic extrusion process, the material acquires superior structural strength, allowing for more robust pieces with an artisanal appearance, with intentional variations that give it a unique character. The porcelain stoneware used has a very low porosity, which translates into a water absorption of less than 0.5%, making it ideal for humid or condensed environments, such as bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms or spa areas, where durability and performance are key.
The versatility of Malta's 10×20 cm format allows it to be installed both on vertical cladding (walls) and on horizontal surfaces (floors) in interior spaces. This includes areas of high visual traffic such as living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens and bathrooms, where a finish of artisanal inspiration is sought but with the resistance of porcelain. The collection is fully modular and can be combined with its Cross and Star decorative pieces, which allows you to create smooth transitions between environments or areas with different functions, while maintaining a uniform and elegant aesthetic.
The extruded porcelain stoneware with which the Malta collection is made not only stands out for its rustic aesthetics, but also for its high technical performance. Some references in the collection offer anti-slip properties (C3/R11), ideal for damp areas or areas prone to splashes, and anti-gelling characteristics, which prevent deterioration in sudden changes in temperature or cold environments. Although its recommended use is indoors, there are variants that allow its application in covered or low-traffic semi-outdoor spaces, guaranteeing a durable and functional solution for any decorative need.
To resolve edges, finishes or corners in an elegant and technical way, Malta includes a special piece called Demi-Bullnose, in 1.5 × 30 cm format. It is a curved molding on one of its sides that allows a smooth and continuous finish, avoiding abrupt cuts or abrupt finishes. Ideal for areas where detail is important, such as shower edges, wall-floor transitions or delimitation of ceramic skirting boards, this special piece reinforces the artisanal and complete character of the Malta system, and facilitates a more professional and finished installation.
The Malta series is not limited to the classic 10×20, but extends with decorative pieces in 15.5×15.5 cm formats with geometric shapes: Cross and Star. These pieces allow you to create geometric patterns, visual patterns and decorative accents on continuous surfaces, whether for highlight areas such as a shower wall, a kitchen backrest or a central ceramic carpet on the floor. Both shapes are available in the same shades as the base collection, ensuring colour coherence, and can be installed both individually and in combination, bringing a distinctive, dynamic and contemporary style to the space.
