Mayor’s Salem Collection

The Salem Collection by Cerámica Mayor is a sophisticated range of porcelain stoneware that masterfully reinterprets Mallorca’s iconic ‘El Marés’ natural stone. Designed to imbue every project with a timeless Mediterranean charm, this range combines the aesthetic warmth of Balearic architecture with the highest technical standards of contemporary ceramics.

Balearic inspiration and colour palette in the Salem Series

This collection stands out for its reproduction of the smooth texture, earthy tones and natural elegance of native Mallorcan stone. Its refined colour options, such as Salem Clar and Salem Dune, offer a wealth of visual interest that fills both indoor spaces and outdoor areas with light and serenity.

The carefully crafted matt finish of the tiles emphasises the realistic appearance of the stone, eliminating unwanted reflections and providing a very pleasant feel. This surface helps to conceal everyday marks, making the series the ideal choice for creating bright and serene spaces throughout the home.

The collection offers an extraordinary range of sizes, with tiles measuring 120 x 120 cm, 60 x 120 cm, 90 x 90 cm and 60 x 60 cm, including reinforced 2 cm thick options. This variety simplifies the planning of continuous layouts, ensuring discreet installation joints that enhance the sense of space.

Thanks to their organic, Mediterranean-inspired design, Cerámica Mayor tiles blend seamlessly with elements such as fine wood, textiles or metal. The subtlety of their neutral tones allows you to create cosy, stylish spaces, suiting both contemporary homes and rustic projects.

Comprehensive solutions for swimming pools and durability with Salem by Cerámica Mayor

Manufactured from high-density porcelain stoneware, the Salem range offers exceptional mechanical resistance to scratches, impacts and everyday wear and tear. Its solid structure reliably withstands constant footfall in high-traffic areas, ensuring the flooring remains in perfect condition at all times.

Specially designed for outdoor use and areas in contact with water, the range features high-safety, non-slip finishes. Its tiles ensure superior grip on pool surrounds, terraces and access areas, guaranteeing a safe and firm footing even on completely wet surfaces.

One of Salem’s key strengths is its comprehensive range of specialised pool fittings, which includes Creta, Maui and Samoa edging, alongside rigid and flexible drainage grates. This technical versatility allows every architectural detail and coping to be addressed with complete aesthetic consistency and an impeccable architectural finish.

The extremely low porosity of this porcelain tile prevents moisture absorption, protecting the structure against extreme frost and chemicals. Routine maintenance is extremely simple, requiring only periodic scrubbing with water and neutral detergents for quick and easy care.
