Universal Cinnamon color profile Astra Nori for finishing steps made of the innovative Astra® material from Emac®, a material with excellent properties suitable for installation in any environment, allowing it to be installed in different applications in the same environment, for example as a step and edge of a pool and as a step on attached stairs. This allows us to take care of the aesthetics of the installation in detail. The surface of the profile has an innovative grooved finish that gives it non-slip characteristics and improves its weather behaviour. This step profile is installed after work adhesive or screwed, being a perfect option for both new construction and rehabilitation and reform. Available in tres colours that integrate with the trendy finishes of the market or contrast with the flooring as desired.
Installation
Novopeldaño Astra® Nori is installed on finished cladding in a simple way.
1. Clean the surfaces to be bonded well to ensure perfect adhesion.
2. Spread plenty of adhesive material on the unseen side of the Novopeldaño Astra® as well as on the substrate, so that the entire surface is covered with it. Follow the adhesive manufacturer's instructions for installation.
3. Place the profile on the desired surface, align it against the riser and press firmly to join the surfaces. In installations with end joints or joints between profiles, it is advisable to maintain a separation as an expansion joint, which should be all the greater the longer the profiles to be joined, approximately 2 mm/m. This joint can be sealed with outdoor-grade elastic joint filler
4. Allow the adhesive to dry and remove any construction debris. Respect the drying time set by the adhesive manufacturer before passing on the product.
* Emac® the use of a two-component white polyurethane epoxy reactive adhesive such as Pegoland® Elastic from Grupopuma or similar. The shelf life of the adhesive is about one hour
Cleaning and maintenance
Astra® material is resistant to most common cleaners, although it is recommended to clean it preferably with water and neutral detergents. The correct use of bleach does not affect it and is resistant to the most common acids. If you want to clean the ridged surface thoroughly, you can use a cleaning brush. Organic solvents such as ethyl acetate, acetone, or toluene are not recommended because they may damage their surface appearance.
