APE’s Wabi Sabi Collection

APE Grupo’s Wabi Sabi Collection draws inspiration from the Japanese philosophy that celebrates the beauty of imperfection and the nobility of nature. This ceramic range reinterprets the organic character of stone and travertine to create outdoor spaces and pool areas characterised by a serene and timeless elegance.

Aesthetic appeal and natural tones in the Wabi Sabi Collection

This range stands out for its palette of earthy, balanced colours, including options such as Wabi Bianco, Wabi Sabbia, Wabi Taupe, Grafite, Travertino Brescia and Travertino Silver. Each design faithfully reproduces the nuances, veining and tactile irregularities of natural stone to bring warmth to outdoor architectural projects.

To ensure seamless technical and aesthetic integration, the range is available in large-format sizes such as 120x120 cm, 60x120 cm, 60x60 cm and 30x60 cm, in matt, lapatto and textured non-slip finishes. Its versatility is complemented by 30x30 cm decorative mosaics and specialised edging for infinity and skimmer systems.

C3 safety rating and technical solutions for pool coping

APE Grupo’s porcelain stoneware stands out for its high mechanical performance, offering textured versions with a Class 3 non-slip finish that ensure safe walking in wet areas or pool surrounds. Its vitreous structure is resistant to chlorination chemicals, intense solar radiation and ice.

The main advantages and features of the Wabi Sabi series for the design of outdoor spaces and aquatic areas are detailed below:

• Stone- and travertine-effect porcelain stoneware with a realistic appearance that brings warmth to any setting.
• Class 3 anti-slip properties for maximum grip in swimming pools, terraces and poolside areas.
• Technical format for pool edges with dedicated pieces for infinity edges and skimmers.
• Modular finishing pieces including drainage grilles, half-round edging, edge strips, corner pieces and straight steps.
• Structural and thermal stability that withstands frost, thermal shock and salt exposure.

Choosing APE’s Wabi Sabi Collection allows you to design integrated InOut projects with seamless continuity between the terrace, the steps and the pool basin. It is the ideal choice if you are looking for stone cladding that is full of character, safe and easy to maintain, year after year.
