Extruded Polystyrene (XPS)

The range of extruded polystyrene (XPS) boards is an essential technical solution for achieving maximum thermal efficiency in new builds and refurbishments. Designed to withstand harsh weather conditions, this range of rigid panels prevents the formation of thermal bridges in roofs, façades, walls and floors.

Thermal insulation performance and mechanical strength of XPS extruded polystyrene

This technical range stands out for the closed-cell structure of its panels, offering extremely low thermal conductivity and complete resistance to water absorption. Its rigid panels withstand continuous compressive loads without deforming, making them the ideal choice for installation under screeds or on inverted roofs.

Their durability against continuous moisture ensures that the insulating properties remain intact over the years, protecting structures against condensation. Thanks to the lightweight yet rigid nature of the panels, they can be handled and cut cleanly, reducing on-site installation times.

Thicknesses and formats tailored to every insulation requirement

To precisely meet the energy requirements of each project, the collection features Soprema panels in a wide range of thicknesses. Each pack provides the ideal dimensions to comply with the standards of the Technical Building Code for roofs, party walls, floors or façades.

Formats available in the XPS panel catalogue

• 40 mm extruded polystyrene (XPS) in 7.5 m² packs for general insulation.
• 50 mm extruded polystyrene (XPS) in packs of 6 m², ideal for roofs and walls.
• 60 mm extruded polystyrene (XPS) in packs of 5.25 m² for enhanced thermal comfort.
• 80 mm extruded polystyrene (XPS) in packs of 3.75 m² with high thermal resistance.
• 100 mm extruded polystyrene (XPS) in packs of 3 m² for the highest level of insulation.

Benefits of insulating your property with high-quality extruded panels

Choosing this range guarantees you permanent and long-lasting energy savings by reducing heating and air-conditioning consumption within your home. You’ll enjoy a healthy indoor environment, protected from damp and thermally comfortable all year round.
