Table of Contents
ROOFTEX V is a non-woven geotextile made of 100% polyester recycled fibres, green in colour, mechanically punched by needles with subsequent heat treatment and calendering, used as a separating, filtering, draining and protective layer in buildings. Density: 150 gr/m2Advantages
- Made with 100% PET fibers from pre-consumer recycling and longitudinally and diametrically calibrated and curled.
- Reinforcement: provides puncture resistance of the waterproofing sheet.
- Filtration and Drainage: good water permeability, allows the passage of water for conduction, retaining fine particles from the soil.
- Separation: avoids mixing particles from different soils. Prevents contact between incompatible materials. It acts as a permeable barrier between materials of different structure.
- Biological resistance: it is not affected by bacteria or fungi. It contains no nutrients, so it is not attacked by rodents or termites.

How to use
Preparation of the support:
- The surface of the base support must be resistant, uniform, compact and dry.
- The singular points must also be prepared before starting the installation of the geotextile: chamfers or straps in meetings with vertical walls, reinforcements, joints and other singular points.
Geotextile Placement:
- Once the ground or support is leveled, the roll of DANOFELT PY 120 is extended. The second roll is then assembled, leaving a minimum overlap of 20cm. Depending on its final application, it is recommended to fix the joint by sewing or stapling.
- The pouring of the materials must be done without damaging the geotextile. In the same way, the spreading of the different layers will be carried out in such a way that the extension and compaction equipment does not circulate at any time on the surface of the geotextile, and always in such a way that the direction of advance of the extension machinery of the upper layer is carried out in such a way that it does not affect the overlap of the geotextile layers.
