Compact system for single leaf BK10, presents a compact structure developed for the most classic doors between rooms. Finished structure thickness 108 mm. Dimensions of the structure: 1,485 x 2,105 mm. Door dimensions: 725 x 2,020 mm and 55 mm maximum door thickness. You can also buy the jambs for the sliding door in the following materials: Tanganyika, Oak, Beech, Sapelli and Cherry. The dimensions can be consulted in the attached images. You can also purchase Boxtel locks in polished brass, chrome-plated polished brass, and matte chrome-plated brass.
This sliding door structure allows the use of both wooden and glass doors, the latter requiring a special installation set. Assembly instructions can be found both in attachments for download in pdf and described in "More info".
BOX SYSTEM system installation step by step.
- 1. Define the size of the Box System solution you need.
- 2. Place the metal profile on top of the structure.
- 3. Attach the metal profile to the wooden upright.
- 4. Control the fairness of the distances between the structure and the wooden stud.
- 5. Use levels to fix the structure when the ground is not paved.
- 6. Make sure that the separation distances provide you with correct alignment.
- 7. Attach the structure to the wall.
- 8. Place a thin metal mesh between the structure and the plaster in order to avoid possible cracks.
Installation of wooden doors.
- 1. Remove the distances and the side placket.
- 2. Place the pulleys and brake on top of the structure.
- 3. Attach the lower door guide.
- 4. Attach the top plates and rubber bumpers to the sliding door.
- 5. Attach the sliding door plates to the sheaves.
- 6. Attach the accessories Boxkel: jambs, weather stripping and rubber seals.
Installation of glass doors.
- 1. Remove the distances and the side placket.
- 2. Place the pulleys and brake on top of the structure.
- 3. Attach the lower door guide.
- 4. Attach the adjustable clamp to the door glass. Adjust it, to the millimeter, to the thickness of the glass (8-12mm.)
- exerting a recommended pressure of 13 Newtons/m.
- 5. Attach the regulator screw to the sheave and adjust the distance between the top of the caliper and the
- lower part of the structure.
- 6. Final result.
