Athenas Pool Bottom Installation
• Check the consistency of the support, eliminate weak parts and fill in flatness defects. Remove cement grouts with high-pressure water washes.
• Spread the adhesive cement and comb on the support in small cloths, maximum of 2m2. Apply with a notched trowel.
• Place and press the mosaic slabs for correct solidization. Leave to dry for 24 hours.
• When the product to be placed is stuck on paper, it is advisable that the paper is soaked. It is recommended, although not necessary, to wet it with water with a small amount of diluted caustic soda or hydrochloric acid. Remove traces of acid or soda with clean water before drying.
• Never let the paper dry once wet.
• Grout with a special gasket product. It is advisable to apply the product with a rubber trowel as it facilitates the application and cleaning of the excess product.
• Clean with a damp nylon sponge and clean water before hardening, taking care not to damage the gasket by strictly following the gasket manufacturer's instructions.
• Rinse and dry with a dry cloth. In cases where the mortar is not easily cleaned, use a cleaner with a neutral pH and water.
