Ceramics have always been present throughout the history of humanity, but their functionality and advantages become really palpable with the growth of large cities at the end of the nineteenth century.

The need to facilitate the mobility of its inhabitants and to make an increasingly large traffic flow, gave rise to the first suburban roads. Hardness, cleanliness, luminosity and decorative possibilities were characteristics that made ceramics the perfect material for these public spaces. These advantages, together with its aesthetic beauty, meant that the metro stations of the world's large cities adapted ceramics to these environments, and that it would later become part of the kitchens and bathrooms of the homes of the inhabitants of these cities. New York was the pioneer, followed by Paris, London and Madrid.

With the Manhattan series, it has been possible to recreate these spaces, which are unalterable over time, and which are representative of the most traditional ceramics, with a very defined personality and character.

The Manhattan series achieves atmospheres and spaces of past times, but with the most current functionality and designs. Adaptable to any project, it gives personality to all imaginable rooms; bathrooms, kitchens, cafeterias or the façade of any building.

Black and white, beveled and smooth, matte, glossy and marble, are the hallmarks of the Manhattan series, which together with materials such as wood, steel, brick or cement, make up the ideal setting for any type of environment we can imagine: retro, contemporary or the most avant-garde of spaces.
