Two-component waterproof mortar additive for the execution of waterproof coatings.

Stands

• Concrete, prefabricated blocks of smooth concrete and cement-rich plaster.
• The supports must be resistant, stable, healthy and clean, free of dust, remains of release agents, organic products, etc.
• In case of heat, wind or on highly absorbent supports, it is advisable to moisten the support and wait for the water film to disappear.
• Supports that are not subject to large movements.
• Dead cracks and damaged concrete must be repaired beforehand with MORCEMREST® RF 35.

How to use

• Mechanically mix the powder Component A with 3/4 parts of the liquid Component B. Then add the remaining liquid component and mix again until a homogeneous mass is obtained.

Application:

• Moisten the surface without excess water. MORCEM® DRY SF PLUS is applied in two layers of 1 mm thick each, with a brush, short pile roller or by projection.
• Apply a first coat in one direction and let it set for one or two hours (at 20ºC). After this time, apply a second coat in the opposite direction. As the setting time can vary depending on the environmental conditions, it should be taken into account that the purpose of this operation is to apply a second layer when the first one does not roll up, so that finally both act in a monolithic way. In no case apply when the first one is too dry, since in this way we would obtain a two-layer scheme in which the adhesion and stability of the whole could be compromised.
• At critical points it is recommended to assemble the lining with DRYPOOL MESH or BANDTEC. Application according to technical sheet.

The final finish can be done by smoothing with a trowel, or troweling with a sponge trowel, depending on the desired texture.

• The MORCEM® DRY SF PLUS will be applied as evenly as possible, to avoid excess material causing cracks in it.
• Wait at least 4 days before filling with water
• Wait at least 2 days before being covered with ceramic coating

Cured:

• Protect from wind, frost and sun during hardening. To avoid excessive drying it is advisable to cover the surface with wet burlap or plastic during curing.
