Stands
- The supports must be clean, dry and free of dust, grease or casting product. On concrete, wait for drying and stabilization (minimum 4 weeks).
- The compatibility of the putty with the substrate should be checked in terms of adhesion and chemical compatibility.
How to use
- A joint bottom of non-adherent material must be previously placed in the putty, in order to control the depth to be filled and will serve as a support during installation. The joint background should not have susceptible nicks, which could cause the joint to bubble.
- Protect the edges of the joint with an adhesive tape for a better finish.
- If necessary, apply a small layer of polyurethane primer to the substrates. After drying, apply by compression, a flexible joint base that does not adhere to the cement.
- Apply the cartridges with a universal hand gun, piercing the mouth of the cartridge and screwing on the plastic nozzle. Apply in such a way as to avoid air occlusion, maintaining a constant depth and inclination of the gun.
- For low width joints, apply the putty in a single step, and for large width joints, apply it in tres steps, the first two on the edges of the joint and the third on the bottom.
- Smooth PUMALASTIC-PU with a spatula dipped in soap and water, conveniently pressing the putty against the edges and bottom of the joint. Remove the adhesive tapes and scrape off the polymerized putty. Do not use solvents.
- The putty can be painted after its complete polymerization. Preferably use dispersion paints (acrylic, vinyl) and carry out a previous test.
