Line markers, also known as "line pullers" or "marking boots" allow us to make perfectly straight lines of several meters in length, on any type of support, without worrying about its texture or finish, in a matter of seconds.
The MASTER line marker consists of a container made of aluminum with excellent impact resistance and great marking capacity.
The reel of the MASTER line marker has 30 meters of rope, a quick retrieval system and a lock to avoid losing rope when we tighten to mark.
At the end of the rope of the MASTER line marker by RUBI we find a highly resistant metal piece that allows us to hook the rope to an edge or nail it. In this way, a single person can make the marks. This same metal piece acts as a stop and prevents the rope from entering the reel completely.
Along with the MASTER line marker, we will find a 120 gr. bottle of tracer powder or "tile" to refill the marker tank. This bottle can be threaded directly onto the marker, both to refill it and to be used as an extra tracer powder tank; especially for large projects where large numbers of lines need to be marked.
To get a good mark, with an accurate reading, it is very important to fill the marker tank, close it correctly and shake. In this way we will make sure that the rope wound on the reel is impregnated with tracer dust.
Once we have stretched the string and positioned it with the reference points, we must tension and pinch the string, as if it were a guitar, against the support and thus leave the tracer dust mark on the surface.
As an additional use, the MASTER line marker can be used as a plumb line.
