RUBI has a wide range of rods available for mixing cementitious mortars and other high-density or low-flow materials. The drag blades of the head of this rod are flat. This increases the trailing capacity of the head and thus allows the user to increase the mixing capacity of the rod. The mixing rod has a hexagonal finish that can be adapted to all RUBIMIX using the drill chuck accessory (Ref. 71967) or a traditional electric drill. Mixing rods for cementitious mortars feature a head designed to perform a bottom-up movement. With mortar mixing rods, the material rises, at low speed, inside the rod head, and down the outside of the rod head. This action allows the homogeneous mixing of highly viscous materials such as mortars, cements and, in particular, improved cementitious adhesives (type C2) for ceramic tiles.
