Waterproofing mortar for a large number of uses, single component, semi-flexible, with excellent adhesion on healthy and clean substrates.
Uses:
It can be used with or without reinforcement, on concrete, mortar, stone, fibre cement supports and is suitable for:
- Waterproofing of tanks, swimming pools, canals, etc.
- Interior waterproofing in basements.
- Exterior waterproofing of buried walls.
- Repair and protection of surfaces exposed to the action of ice and de-icing salts: bridge parapets, terrace and roof overhangs, cornices, etc.
- Protection of concrete structures in marine environments.
- Waterproofing of drinking water tanks.
- Sika MonoTop-107® Seal can be used for the protection of concrete structures:
- Suitable for protection against penetration (Principle 1, method 1.3 of UNE-EN 1504-9).
- Suitable for humidity control (Principle 2, method 2.2 of UNE-EN 1504-9).
- Suitable for increasing resistance (Principle 8, method 8.2 of UNE-EN 1504-9).

- Good ozone resistance.
- Slightly flexible in relation to a normal mortar.
- Slows the progression of carbonation.
- It does not attack armor or metal elements.
- It is non-corrosive, non-flammable, and non-toxic.
Mix Ratio: Approximately 4.5 liters of water per 25 kg bag
Consumption:
Minimum 2 coats are required. It may be necessary to reach up to 3 layers in areas of extremely strong filtration.
As indicative data:
For frost protection: 2 kg/m2 and layer.
For waterproofing; Depending on the height of the water column:
- With H < 1 m.: up to 1.5 kg/m2 and layer.
- With H > 1 m.: up to 2 kg/m2 and layer.
The maximum consumption per layer should not exceed 4 kg/m2 (2 mm thick).
